Restaurant Sign
This over the door hanging sign was created for a small diner located in North Eastern Illinois. The size of the sign was limited by the narrow front of the building. Because alignment is extremely difficult in the routing of a single piece of stock front to back, two identical panels are made, then glued back to back. This method also allows reinforcing material to be added between the two panels. This procedure is used in the cedar or redwood sandblasting process as well, particularly in the smaller signs and those signs with irregular shapes.
The customer had us order the wrought iron bracket used here. This can speed-up the installation process greatly, by using the correct bracket and having the sign and bracket unit ready to hang.
