Hanging Signage

These two signs are unusual in that they are single sided hanging signs, suspended from wrought iron brackets supplied by Strata. The brackets and signs are attached to 6X6 cedar posts. Heavy foliage is planted behind each installation, for this reason, two sided signs were not needed.

Whether you order the bracket from Strata or not, eye screws and chain link are provided as part of the order. This avoids you having to find these items yourself. This type of installation normally uses a cantilevered 4X4 cedar post for either single or double sided signs. This is simple construction involves a mortice cut into each piece. then sandwiched together to form an "L" shape. Turned upside down, the vertical is inserted into a hole with a half bag of Sakrete and dampened, making sure the assembly is plumbed and leveled. Let the cement mix harden overnight. Fill remainder of hole with ruble from digging.
