Bell Ridge is a subdivision located in South Florida. The design is a re-imagined and updated version of their original sign. The original sign constructed of wood had suffered much damage by dry rot and insects. Strata recommends the use of High Density Urethane where ever the climate is arid or tropical. HDU is impervious to moisture and heat, will never warp, crack or split and is guaranteed by the manufacturer for 10 years.

HDU in addition to being completely weather proof, HDU has the advantage of having an extended paint life due to its inert nature. And, HDU, unlike wood can either be routed or sandblasted. But for northern climes, there can be no denying the beauty of sandblasted cedar or redwood. Transparent stains can be used when desired to enhance the natural beauty of the wood grain.
