Private Property Signs
This small subdivision is located on the lake shore district in Northern Illinois. The carved scene aptly depicts this area with its many lakes. Limited space for installation necessitated a small but highly visible sign. Determining the size and style of your sign can seem like a daunting task. Simple rules apply. Generally a large subdivision with ample space for installation requires a larger sign. Smaller signs can be used when mounted to a monument consisting of brick or stone for an imposing site.
Popular sizes for subdivision signs include: 5' X 3', 7' X 3', 8' X 4' and 10' X 5'. Double sided signs can be free-standing, between two cedar posts or mounted between two stone or brick pillars. Two sided signs require two sign panels that are glued back-to-back, in this case, the required second panel receives a 20% discount.
