This sign was a replacement for the original panel that had badly deteriorated. The new sign was placed on an existing brick monument. A sign made of HDU was the proper choice of material for this Texas subdivision located near the Gulf Coast. The prevailing heat and humidity in this area has little effect on HDU.

This smaller monument is unusual in that it was constructed using recycled common brick. The columns at either side are capped with square cut limestone. This installation provides an inexpensive, rural, yet high quality impression.
