Custom Street Signs

These signs replaced the original sandblasted cedar signs that had deteriorated over the years. Cedar signs are not recommended in areas of intense moisture and hot conditions. The unusual mounting structures were still usable with repainting, thus requiring exact dimensions. The street signs were part of an upgrade which included the three entrance signs in our subdivision gallery section on the web site.

The original signs used a pale blue background with white text. We carried over the color scheme of the entrance signs using a very dark blue to emphasize the street names. For night time visibility, glass beading was applied to letter surfaces to reflect the headlights of oncoming vehicles.
