Farm Sign

Another example of customer supplied artwork, in this case, the customer requested a wood grained pattern over the entire background. The background scene is routed at three different depths, then hand tooled for the desired effect. The lowest level of the background is the sky portion which was then airbrushed using various shades of blue. Remaining colors were all hand painted.

Three heavy walled galvanized pipes were inserted laterally into the back of the sign for reinforcement. The pipes were extended 2-1/2" beyond both sides of the sign for mounting two 4 X 4 cedar posts. Prior to installation, the sign is positioned upon the facing sides of the mounting posts for accurately marking the hole positions. This provides an easy and invisible sign to post installation.
